MCJL seeks To build a just and tolerant society with people centered governance

» Objectives
1.  Carry out human rights and legal education with the primary target of Muslim communities and
members of other faith in general.
2.  Create a religious pluralist and tolerant society nationally, regionally and globally.
3.  Lobby government and legislature to put in place policies that promote access to justice and LEGAL Aid
for the marginalized communities and individuals.
4.  To network with local and international civil society organizations in promoting social justice and legal awareness

•     Conducting a GBV prevention program in the districts of Kampala and Butambala targeting Muslim communities
•     Advocacy program targeting muslim women in marriage and property rights.

•     Legal Aid Services including Micro Justice (processing land titles and registering small business, birth and
marriage certificate for poor people).
•     Human Rights awareness and Legal Education (In schools and communities).
•     GBV Prevention and reproductive health and sexual rights Education.
•     Children’s Rights Including campaigns to end Child trafficking and labour.
•     Rights of persons with disability
•     Democracy and Good Governance.
