FAPAD exists to To promote human rights through community empowerment for protection of rights and realization of sustainable livelihoods in Northern Uganda. Its vision is A peaceful society in which people respect each other’s rights

Foundation for Human Rights Initiative - FHRI

FHRI exists to enhance Respect and Observance of Human Rights Practices and Civic Values, Promote basic practices through training, Education, Research, Advocacy, ICTs, and Strategic Partnerships. Its vision is A Human Rights and Civic Culture as a foundation for peace, stability, Democracy, Social Justice and Sustainable Development in Uganda.

Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum - HRAPF

HRAPF's mission is To use the law to promote human rights awareness and enforcement. Its Vision is To see the rights of all persons including marginalized groups considered as part and parcel of social, political and economic Development.

Human Rights Centre Uganda (HRCU).

The Human Rights Centre Uganda (HRCU) is a nonprofit organization established in November 2008 with the sole aim of contributing to the protection and promotion of the rights of Human Rights Defenders in Uganda.

Human Rights Focus (HURIFO).

Human Rights Focus is a member-based human rights organisation with a countrywide mandate to promote and defend human rights. It was founded in 1994 in Northern Uganda to respond to the then deteriorating human rights situation in the region, resulting from civil strife and armed rebellion. HURIFO is registered in Uganda as an NGO with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and as a Company Limited by Guarantee.

Inter Religious Council of Uganda - IRCU

The mission is To promote peace, reconciliation, good governance, and holistic human development through interfaith action and collaboration, advocating for the empowerment of member bodies for common good. IRCU's vision is A divinely peaceful, united, prosperous Uganda where all people enjoy full health and freedoms for the common good.

Islamic Women Initiative for Justice, Law and Peace (IWILAP)

Vision A society accessing quality legal assistance and free from all kinds of human rights abuses. Mission To build and strengthen a sustainable, transparent, accountable and democratic society free from Human Rights abuse through advocacy, implementation and partnership at all levels.
