Soroti Development Association & NGOs Network was formed in 1994 out of a need to establish a development organization that carters for the information, capacity building and networking needs of the ever increasing numbers of civil society organizations in Soroti district. SODANN was the first CSO District Network to be born in Uganda.

With a vision of distributing useful legal knowledge to people in the local communities who would not normally have easy access to the legal issues and information that might affect them, Street Law works for promotion of the rule of law, democracy and human rights in Uganda
